A huge range of elections are upcoming on the 5th of May 2016, covering the whole of the UK. There are votes for the Scottish Parliament, Welsh Assembly, Northern Ireland Assembly and the London Assembly. Bristol, Liverpool, London and Salford all have elections for Mayors. There are elections for 36 Police & Crime Commissioners in England and four in Wales. Finally, there are local council elections in 124 English councils. Everyone has a chance to have a voice in their local area.
The Democratic Dashboard is designed to give voters clear, easy-to-understand information about their local area and these upcoming elections. The Dashboard will offer unprecedented access to information on elections at all levels of UK democracy and we hope this will help you to make up your mind before visiting the ballot box.
